Hello! After much delay after my father dying, moving to Colorado to care for my mom, back surgery, and my brother dying, I finally got back into the studio to record some tracks for my second CD, which will be released (Lord willing) in 2024. These trials make us stronger, but they do their best to tear us apart.   I wrote Arms To The Sea when we still lived in Los Angeles. I still see the sunlight, filtered through the marine layer, drifting through our living room window every time I sing this song, our rescue cats lazing on the back of the sofa, bees buzzing in the roses we planted, all grateful for a home. Much of the imagery concerns Tokitae, one of the old rescues, Max, and my dad, a former pilot. They are all gone now but live on in the song.

I will have download and listening links to share with you soon.

The CD cover art is by Charles Spitzack, used with permission, and taken from a 15” x 9” woodcut sheet art begun in 1987 and completed in 2022. This work is dedicated to Tokitae and is entitled “Free Tokitae, Kill Lolita.”
